The New Zealand Law Society (NZLS) Library is a private library for use by members and associate members of the New Zealand Law Society, the Judiciary and the Ministry of Justice Court staff.
The Library has four main locations in Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago. In addition to the print collections held in these libraries (see Library catalogue) members have access to a comprehensive online collection of legal information for New Zealand and other jurisdictions. Library databases can be accessed on NZLS computers in the four main libraries as well as Branch libraries located in courthouses throughout the country.
Library staff provide high quality legal information services to members of the New Zealand Law Society. Research libraries are located at the High Courts in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
Research - highly experienced researchers are available for all types of legal research
The library is a private library and is not open to the general public.
